I became a Steven Pressfield fan after reading the amazing GATES OF FIRE. I believe GATES OF FIRE to be Pressfield's finest book but this one is quite a read as well. This copy of THE AFGHAN CAMPAIGN is a first edition, first print, published by DOUBLEDAY in 2006.

It is signed by Pressfield on the title page with the year 2006 written below his signature.

Pressfield is best known for his historical military books but he has also written the excellent THE LEGEND OF BAGGER VANCE, which was made into a movie starring Will Smith and Matt Damon.
